Riding the wave of What Does the Fox Say popularity, I thought I’d take this time to share with you information about the Red Fox.
Animal Diversity Web brings you a whole page of information on the mighty Red Fox that is incredibly detailed and notes sources at the end.
To navigate all you have to do is scroll down the page or you click on one of the categories on the middle menu and it will jump down the page to that section. There you’ll learn about the Geographic Range, Habitat, Physical Description, Reproduction, Lifespan/Longevity, Behavior, Communication and Perception, Food Habits, Ecosystem Roles, Economic Importance for Humans (both positive and negative), and Conservation Status.
You can also use the menu on the right side of the page to check out Information (the default page you’re on), Pictures, Specimens, and Classification. I particularly thought it was interesting to check out the Specimens section where you can find images of the fox specimens (bones) that have been collected.
Or you can use the left side menu to explore About Us, About Animal Names, Educational Resources, Special Collections, Glossary, and Browse Animalia.
This is a very informative look into the Red Fox, check it out today!
