Georgia asks:
I recently switched to Windows 8. When I used Windows 7, I could simply print a small selection of text from a website. But now, when I use the menu in Firefox, I can only print a whole page. Is there a way to set it to print only the selection?
Hi Georgia,
On the newer versions of Firefox, the menu
only allows to print a whole page. However, if you use the Menu Bar at the top, you can still print a selection. If you do not have the menu bar (the bar that says File, Edit, View, etc.), simply press the ALT key to bring it down. (This also works on Internet Explorer.) Bonus – If you want that bar to stay up there, you can right click in the blank space at the top of the Firefox window and make sure Menu Bar is checkmarked.
With the selection you want printed highlighted, click on File and then Print. When the Print menu comes up, click on Selection, then Print.

This will allow just your selection to print.
