Windows 10 Revealed!

Microsoft has revealed its next operating system Windows 10. They’re skipping right over number 9, but this new system could just as easily have been described as Windows 15, since it combines the best features of Windows 7 & 8. The beloved start menu is back, but the live tiles are sticking around.

Among the new features offered will be multiple desktops and a Continuum mode designed for convertible devices that will detect whether or not a mouse and keyboard are attached and switch back and forth between a keyboard-friendly and touch-friendly interface as needed.

We’re  getting our hands on a beta copy of Windows 10 right now and we’re going to be testing it out to make sure we’re ready to answer all of your questions when Windows 10 is released sometime in the middle of 2015.

Apple Does Damage Control

The hype following the launch of the iPhone 6, Apple Watch and iOS 8 was followed by a whole lot of problems for the company. There were complaints of slowdowns and poor battery life with iOS 8. Even worse, the first update to the system, iOS 8.0.1 left some users unable to make calls with their phones and broke Apple’s much-touted fingerprint ID system which locked people out of their phones.

The company issued a new update iOS.0.2 to fix the problem just over a day later. There have also been reports of the new iPhone 6 bending in the pockets of users. Angry owners posted photos on social media of their warped phones.  The company says the problem is not wide-spread and offered to replace the phones that warped.
