Bing Home Page Adds Office Online Apps

I’m  a fan of the Bing homepage. Google may be the most popular search engine, but there’s not doubt in my mind that Bing is the prettiest to look at. Every day it features gorgeous HD photographs that are worth stopping by to look at even if you don’t need to search.

You can even click on points in the pictures to learn more about them.

Now the home page is adding productivity to the pretty by including Office Online Apps and Outlook.com to the page.

Click Office Online and you’ll have access to the free suite of Microsoft Office Online Apps including Word, Excel, Powerpoint, OneNote and OneDrive as well as a calendar and Outlook.com e-mail.

It also offers quick access to MSN.com. As I explained in an earlier article, that gives you online access to many great Windows 8.1 apps without a Windows 8.1 computer.

Bing also offers quick access to Image and video search, maps and news.  With beautiful background images and quick access to productivity apps, Bing makes an attractive and convenient choice for a homepage.
