As I’ve explained in a previous article, it’s all about numbers with AOL tips, only a small percentage of consumers use the AOL browser. We covered the big three browsers because those tips apply to the largest number of readers, but I’d be glad to go over downloading to the AOL browser.
Let’s start out by clicking on a download link.
A window should open showing your downloads folder and giving you the opportunity to rename the file or choose another location to save it to.
Once you hit Save, Show all downloads will appear at the lower right of your browser.
Click that and you’ll be able to see a list of all of the downloads you have in progress. Larger downloads can take a while to complete.
Don’t try to open the file until the download is complete. Once the download is finished, you can find your download in the file where you saved it.
The file should open when you double-click it. Or you can right-click and choose a program for opening it.
