Chrome Browser: How Do I Delete Cookies?

In a previous article, I showed you how to delete cookies in Internet Explorer. We talked about what cookies are and how to get rid of them.

Let’s go over how to delete those cookies in Google Chrome. First, click the menu button on the top right. Then click on History.

On the tab that opens, click Clear browsing data…

A menu will come up in the middle of the screen. Similar to IE, you can delete all or just parts of the browsing history. You can also change the time period you want to delete, from the last hour to the entire time you’ve used Google Chrome.

Mark what you want to clear by checking or removing the checks by each option. If you only want to delete cookies, uncheck everything but Cookie sand other site and plug-in data.  Then hit Clear browsing data. Again, when you delete all cookies, you may find you’ll have to log in to websites that you were automatically logged into before, and may have to reenter passwords as well, and when choosing to delete other data you may find websites load slower the next time you go to them.
