Looking for that perfect diamond ring or jewelry piece right for that special someone? There is an app for that. The Brilliance.com 3D Printing Diamond Engagement Ring Program uses their own “diamond finder” app to let customers try 3D versions of the final rings/jewelry before final purchase.
Brilliance.com combines this special app with 3D printing to let users customize carat, clarity, color and cut to finalize their choice from over 100,000 diamonds in stock. Since it’s initial release, Brilliance has made notable enhancements and fixed minor bugs.
In this Diamond Finder app program, they provide the 3D model to customers who can try it out for themselves after customizing the option to the desired jewelry piece. This app gives users access to over 100,000 wholesale diamonds using difference criteria like carat, price, color, clarity, and diamond certification.
Users find their ring size (good to have that ready ahead of time) and customize the diamond shape, which include round (ideal for large sizes), square (cushion), rectangular (emerald, princess, radiant), heart-shaped (ideal for large sizes), pear-shaped, oval, or marquise (like a pear but pointed on both ends). You can even try different carat weights to compare size differences between the different 3D models. Don’t have a 3D printer? No problem. Customers without a 3D printer can still receive free 3D printed models. Customers who do have access to 3D printers will be able to download the ring files that will assist with deciding on what shape, size and carat diamond to purchase, as well as a 3D printed sizer to find out the exact ring size.
Brilliance.com customers can also make the final purchase using the app, which also includes education material, term glossary, and short supplementary videos including “The Diamond Cut Guide” and “How to Buy Diamonds Without Breaking the Bank”.
