Meet the iPhone 6s

The pitch for Apple’s new iPhone 6s is “The only thing that’s changed is everything.” But the phone doesn’t really boast one killer new feature that will send customers running to the store to grab one right now, but it does have a lot of nice improvements.

Among them is the 3D touch system, which allows you to pull up menus or preview items depending on how hard you press the screen.

In many ways, it’s a lot like having a mouse with the harder press substituting for a right-click or a double- click.I’ll cover that more in depth later in an article later in the week.

The phone has a 12mp camera and is capable of taking 4K 1080p HD video. The front-facing camera has a new 5mp HD camera to make FaceTime and selfies clearer than ever.

This should be a pretty fast little phone. It features a 64-bit A9 chip, that Apple promises could make graphic-heavy games and apps up to 90% faster.

Apple is also promising a sturdier phone with an aluminum body that comes in rose gold, gray, silver and gold, plus a more durable glass screen.

The company also says this phone supports more LTE bands than any other smartphone out there and with LTE Advanced you could see your Wifi speeds doubled.

All of those neat features don’t come cheap. Pricing on the iPhone 6s starts at $649 and can run nearly $1000 if you want the 128GB model of the iPhone 6s Plus.
