Sling TV has made its way to the Amazon! Sling TV is now available on current versions of Amazon Fire HD and HDX tablets. This special streaming service where you can watch various media and live television shows without a cable subscription is now compatible with the Amazon Fire, Fire TV, Fire TV Stick, Fire HD and HDX tablets.

You can also get 14-day free trial for new Sling TV customers with an Amazon Fire HDX 8.9, Fire HDX 7, Fire HD 7 or Fire HD 6 tablet. To access the 14-day free trial offer, new Sling TV customers must download the Sling TV app from the Amazon Appstore on an Amazon Fire HDX 8.9, Fire HDX 7, Fire HD 7 or Fire HD 6 tablet and follow instructions to activate the offer in-app. After the free trial, the customer’s credit card will be charged for the applicable subscription unless they cancel.

If you have an Amazon Fire tablet, you can add Sling TV by following these steps:

1: On your Amazon Fire tablet (running current software), download the Sling TV app from the Amazon Appstore.

2: Once downloaded, find the app on your home screen/apps library.

3: Launch Sling TV app on Amazon Fire tablet & log in using your username and password.

4: Experience live and on-demand TV anywhere!

Set up for SlingTV is easy (create an account w/username and password) and the viewing quality is very strong. You also get various settings and can pause live TV or watch something that aired up to 72 hours ago. The basic package is great, but if you want even more, then Sling TV customers can also customize their streaming service to a single, add-on “Extra” packages in specific areas like Hollywood, Kids, News & Info, Lifestyle, World News and Sports plus two basic packages on Sling Latino (Deportes and Peliculas & Novelas). Sling TV also covers movies with the HBO and EPIX channels with thousands of Video-On-Demand titles.

Other Sling TV supported devices, include Google’s Nexus Player, current-generation Roku players and Roku TV models, Xbox One, iOS and Android devices, Mac and PC. SlingTV comes from satellite TV provider Dish Network, which has been internationally operating an over-the-top (OTT)/web TV service named DishWorld, which is now known as Sling International.
