I’ve challenged myself to read more books this year, so I’ve done a lot of looking into reading challenges.  I really like this list of nine challenges put together by Bustle, and I can’t wait to share them with you, so let’s get started.

When you arrive at the site, you’ll notice that the list is presented to you article style. You can read through for context, or just scroll down to where the list starts. Each item is numbered and has a brief description of the list. To get to the reading challenge described you’ll want to click on the hyperlinked title, and you’ll be whisked away to the site where the reading challenge is hosted.

The reading challenges are geared mostly towards the adult reading level, rather than Young Adult or Children, with the exception of the Goodreads and Anne of Green Gables challenges. For the Goodreads you just declare how many books you want to read, and I would consider Anne of Green Gables a Young Adult series.

The list starts with Bustle’s own reading challenge, and follows with the Goodreads Challenge, Book Riot’s Read Harder Challenge, PopSugar’s Ultimate Reading Challenge, Mount TBR Reading Challenge,  SciFi and Fantasy Book Club Challenge, Read the World Challenge, Modern Miss Darcy Challenge, and the Anne of Green Gables Reading Challenge.

I really love that you can combine a lot of these challenges, and I adore the Mount TBR Reading Challenge which challenges you to tackle that To Be Read pile of books you already own!

Go check these out today and get reading!
