I’m going to start this article with the e-mail I received after the person I was trying to help out tried my solution. “I can’t believe it! I’ve been working on this problem for 2 days and have tried all kinds of solutions with no results. Thought it might be a problem with my router. Tried it out and I couldn’t believe it, it worked.”
Well believe it, we mean business when it comes to Tech Tips! Here’s the original question. “Since upgrading to Windows 10 , I am unable to view the pictures in my emails. I am using Windows Live Mail. I could not find anything on line to help me and was wondering if you could solve my problem.“
Fortunately, this solution is a super-simple one. Start by opening Windows Live Mail.
Click the drop-down arrow in the upper left of your inbox next to the Home tab.

Then choose Options.

Click on Safety Options.

When the Safety Options window opens, click the Security tab.

Uncheck the box next to “Block images and other external content in HTML email”.

Don’t forget to click the Apply button at the bottom.
