Delores has a question about Windows 7. She writes: “If I buy a new computer with windows 10 on it, will I still have the option of running it on Windows 7?”
You can, but you’ll have to purchase a copy of Windows 7 separately. You could then install it over Windows 10 (you’ll lose everything, it would be a clean install) or create a dual-boot and install Windows 7 on a partition of your hard drive.

on the dual boot quick tip. raised another question that should have bee addressed. how do you do a partition on your hard drive???????????????????
That is what I am going to do, but I am going to keep my win 7 drive, load a new win 7 on another SSD drive and do all the updates, disconnect all drives in the computer and upgrade to win 10 and do all updates for it then put the win 7 drive back in, connect all the other drives and if I read the article right when I boot up, it should give me the option of what OS I want to login to. I have a 500GB for both OS but I dont want both on the same SSD.
wow, glad to here some ppl are making progress with win 10. I can get my email, but I had to transfer my mail account to win 10.
