There’s a good chance you’re already reading this on the Chrome mobile app. It’s fast-becoming the most popular browser in the world. If you’re still using the default Android browser, you should check out Chrome.
It’s probably already installed on your phone or tablet, but if not, you can go to the Google Play store and search for Chrome.

Tap the icon to open and this should be what you see. Since it’s a Google product, it’s not surprising that Google is the default search engine.

At the top of the page, you’ll see the familiar address bar.

To the left, you’ll see an icon that looks like a house. You can always tap that icon to return to your home page.

To the right of the address bar, you’ll see that a number that tells you how many tabs you have open. A tab refers to a window in which you view an open website. In this app, it’s possible to several open at once.

To the left, you’ll see an icon that looks like a house. You can always tap that icon to return to your home page.

To the far right, you’ll see three little dots. This is your menu button.

Tap it, and you’ll see a drop-down menu.

At the top of the menu, you’ll four icons. The arrow icon will take you to previous pages visited.

The star icon is the one you tap to add a site to your favorites.

Click the i icon for information about the page you are visiting.

The final icon refreshes the page you are visiting.

This Chrome tip does not look anything like my Chrome! Yes, it has an address bar, and house symbol, but similarity stops there. No number of open tabs, and nothing else, except the bookmark “star” and the three stacked dots. I can send you a clip of it, if you like.
