I have been a bookworm ever since I learned to read. I devoured books growing up, and that’s why it was so important to me try book challenges this year, so I could back in the habit of finding time to read. Now that I’m reading a lot more, I find I want to hear about books and talk about books too! That’s how I discovered this audio show Bookworm. I was browsing NPR and there it was!

The show is hosted by Michael Silverblatt and offers intellectual, accessible, and provocative literary conversations.

The aqua bar along the top plays featured content from KCRW. Sometimes that content will be Bookworm. If you don’t want to see this mini player, click the X in the right corner.

Scrolling down the main page you’ll find the two featured episodes and then a listing of all the episodes, blog posts, and more. If you click on an episode you’ll go to its page where you can find out more about what is covered in that episode.  Each episode features an author of fiction and/or poetry, so you get a lot of different perspectives over the different episodes.
