Billdogg

Billdogg is an easy and beautiful way for freelancers to send invoices.  I’ve been doing a lot of freelancing, so I’ve been looking for a good way to deal with billing my clients. In my search I found Billdogg! I love that it is free and easy to use.

When you arrive at the site, I recommend just scrolling down the page and checking out the featured invoice – it gives you an idea as to how it works – and then you can click the Get Started or Create an Invoice Now buttons to begin.

You’ll load onto a blank invoice that is ready for you to customize. You can add a logo in the top right corner, set the invoice number, issue and due dates, customer information, company information, description of service/product, quantity, pricing, and amount due. You can also add discounts, tax, and set the currency. At the bottom you can add terms (good for refund policies) and additional notes (thank you notes possibly).

After you’ve customized your invoice you have the option to download it as a .PDF, print it out, preview, save, and then send the invoice.  It’s just that simple!

In order to view the invoices you’ve sent and your customer database (built presumably on the invoices you’ve sent), you’ll need to register for an account and be logged in. Coming soon will be invoice/bill reminders.

Go check it out for yourself today!
