Add Color To Your Facebook Status

If you use the Facebook Mobile app, there’s a new way to add a punch of color to your Facebook statuses. And it couldn’t be easier to jazz up that plain text. Just type in a status like you normally would. Make sure to type the status in first, you won’t see the options until you put in the words.

You’ll notice a new colorful option at the bottom.  Tap the little color button and the background will change.

You could be purple.

Or Yellow.

A dark gray.

Or a sunny orange.  In addition to the standard white, there are 7 colors to choose from.

The idea is to make statuses more prominent, so people will pay attention. You may have noticed that when you type a short status now, it displays in a much larger font size in the mobile app.
