Bob’s got a problem when it comes to printing Gmail messages: “Recently changed from Yahoo mail to Gmail. I want to print emails and other documents from Gmail. In Yahoo, it was a breeze to change from 100% to a lower OR higher % for printing. Why is it so difficult to find out how to do this in Gmail? Please help!”
It shouldn’t be too difficult to enlarge the text size. You’ll notice a little printer icon on the top right of your Gmail message.
When you hover over it, you’ll see Print All. Click it.
In some cases, you’ll see a window like this for your printer and you may need to click Properties.
Or it may open up directly to your printer options, as shown below.
You should see the scaling options for your printer.
You should be able to choose to enlarge the text size easily.

Hi Cynthia. I rarely use my G-mail and prefer AOL because of its format and ease of use. I tried the tip to enlarge the font when printing on G-mail. It doesn’t seem to work for me. 1) I don’t want to “Print All”, 2) I do not get in my “print” options anything about “scale”. I get layout, color, paper size, margins, other options: header/footer, two-sided, background graphics. Can you tell me what I’m missing. Thanks.
Hello. And Bye.
