A reader wants to add a world clock to her PC. “I would like to have a world time clock on my PC but not just download anything from the net as I am afraid of viruses etc.. I am using Windows 10.”
Great news! You don’t need to download anything. You already have a world clock on your PC. Let’s check out how to set it up. Start by searching for Alarm & Clock in the search box. Click on the result.

When the app opens, select the World Clocks tab.

You’ll see this map of the globe with your location selected.

It’s easy to add a place. Just click the + sign at the bottom right.

Start typing the name of the place you wish to add and click on it.

That place will now display on the map.

If you click the compare icon at the bottom right…

You can move the slider at the bottom to compare times in different locations.

If there’s a time you’d like to have handy all the time. Right-click on the map location and choose Pin to Start.

The time will then appear with the tiles on your StartMenu.

Right-click and choose more to resize the tile.

Click and drag to move it anywhere you like on the Start Menu.
