Here’s a quick tip for creating a new folder in File Explorer in Windows 7, 8.1, or 10. Just press Ctrl+Shift+N.

A new folder will pop up immediately. The cursor will already be on the name, so just start typing.

This will be a handy tip… Thanks once again Cynthia… You ROCK!
I have Windows 10 and it doesn’t work. Nothing happens when pressing Ctr+Shift+N.
It doesn’t work for me either. I’m running Windows 10, and when I press Ctrl + Shift + N, “You’ve gone incognito” will pop up.
Sounds like you are in your browser instead of in Windows Explorer.
