Create a New Folder Fast With This Shortcut

Here’s a quick tip for creating a new folder in File Explorer in Windows 7, 8.1, or 10. Just press Ctrl+Shift+N.

A new folder will pop up immediately. The cursor will already be on the name, so just start typing.

  1. It doesn’t work for me either. I’m running Windows 10, and when I press Ctrl + Shift + N, “You’ve gone incognito” will pop up.
