Dual Monitor Keyboard Shortcut

Here’s a very handy keyboard shortcut if you happen to be using a dual monitor setup. I use one daily and I absolutely love it. Sometimes you find that you need to move your active window. That normally involves clicking and dragging. But I’ve got a quicker way.

To move your most active windows to the left monitor, press the Windows Key+Shift+Left Arrow.  To move the most active window to the right, just press Windows Key+Shift+Right Arrow. Here’s what the Windows key looks like.

  1. I found this to be a great tip. I have shared it with all of the employees here at our company this morning.

    Thanks a bunch!
