Yesterday, I introduced you to a great, free language program called Memrise. We created an account, began our lessons and set a language goal. If you haven’t read part 1 yet, click here. Today, we’ll explore Memrise further.
Click the “X” button at the top-right of the screen.
You’ll be taken to your dashboard, where you can see how much progress you are making in learning the language you chose. You can click “Learn” to continue to learn more words and phrases.
Recalling words that you have already learned
Click on the image next to the title of the lesson (to the left of “Portuguese (Brazilian) 1”).
You will see a series of lessons as part of this course. Since you just started, you are at the first level. Click on the first level “Launchpad!”.
You will see a list of words that you have learned (and will learn later on) in the lesson.
Choosing another language to learn
If you decide that you want to switch languages, you can always choose something else. To do this, on the navigation bar, click on “Courses.”
You will see a long list of other languages that you can start learning. Click on the one that interests you.
If you do not see the language that you want to learn, you can always search for it using the search bar at the top of the page.
Logging out
To log out, click on the user icon at the top-right corner of the page. Afterward, click “Log out.”
To log back in just click Login on the navigation bar.
Then put in your username and password. Have fun learning!
