Outlook.com has joined the Windows 10 Mail app, the Outlook Mobile app, and Outlook in Office by adding the Focused Inbox feature.
This feature is part of what’s called a “smart pipe,” where email services try to pre-sort your messages. It’s a bit like a spam filter, only it aims to sort out messages you probably want to see by order of importance. In this case, you’ll see Focused and Other.
Just click the Other tab to see the contents of that inbox. Outlook.com asks for your opinion the first time you use it.
Just fill out the form and let them know how you’d like to see it improved.
If a message is in the wrong inbox, just click on the drove down arrow next to Move to. You can move to the Focused inbox just once or have this kind of email go to Focus always.

NO, for us people that still has Windows 7, Outlook should have NEVER of changed our email programs and I DON”T LIKE their new Focus/Other Box!! They put junk mail in the “Focus Box” yet the emails I want in the “Other” box. Their filter system the so called “Smart Pipe” aint so smart after all and Oatlook.com NEVER asked me for my opinion the first time I use it and have had my current email since 1997! Hey if it aint broke why try to fix it and make things harder for those of us the DONT have Windows 10 yet? Outlook NEEDS to change our email back for those of us that aren’t ready/using Window 10 due to all the bugs they have and now I heard their working on Windows 11? They could’ve of least WARNED us they were changing things as I was using hotmail.com w/o warning changed to outlook.com emails and other emails like Google, Yahoo, etc arent much better (and hacked/spyed on daily) Sheesh, think I am going back to the good old telephone, writing letters and sending them out with stamps on the envelopes, NO cable etc and burning all my techie devices!! Outlook.com was horrible many moons ago when back in the late 90s/2000s they shut down Outlook and told us to go to hotmail, msn, aol, and get new emails then here we are Yeeeears later and Outlook.com is back. Didn’t like them in the past and DONT LIKE THEM NOW so OUTLOOK.COM SUCKS… plain and simple. Even tho I enjoyed things being more simple by using computers, cell phones, etc, with the way the world is going now with all the Identity Theft, Hacking, etc, I feel it’s just NOT WORTH my safety anymore…but thats how I feel!!
