Check Out A Cool Retro Keyboard

If the response to my article about the Qwerky Manual Bluetooth keyboard last year is any indication, you guys love a good retro keyboard.

While the Qwerky looks a lot like an early 1900s keyboard, a new retro keyboard has more of a mid-twentieth century look.

The Elretron keyboards  would be right at home in a 1950s or 1960s office. Let’s check it out.

The Elretron is a mechanical keyboard. That’s something touch typists really love because it enables faster keyboarding. You have the choice between round chrome keys or the diamond keys, depending on which era you’re feeling nostalgic for.

In comes in your choice of retro white.

And a natural wood finish.

The Bluetooth keyboards work with Windows, Android and iOS. You can pair with up to 5 devices at one time.

The keyboard will retail for less than $200, considerably less than the Qwerky. There are pre-order deals available at IndieGoGo crowd-funding site but I tend to hold off on my electronics purchase until I hear some solid reviews. But this is certainly going on my list of future keyboards.

  1. I still prefer the old Keytronics keyboard that the old IBM XT had….

Hear it across the room, but you knew the key was pushed.
