Brought to you by Edith P. Mayo and the National Women’s History Museum this site traces the history of women in politics in the United States through powerful political imagery. (You can also browse this exhibit as a Google Culture exhibit, if you prefer that interface.)
When you arrive at the site, you’ll find navigation instructions in the lower right corner of the exhibit interface. All you need to do to navigate through the exhibit though is to click the Start button and then use the right and left arrows to move through the images.
Each image in the exhibit has a descriptor in the bottom right corner that either describes what is happening in the image or at that historical moment.
This site offers an interesting way to engage with the rhetoric of the suffragette’s fight for the right to vote! Go check it out for yourself today!
