Today we’ll look at great, free app from the Windows store that lets you have a lot of fun with your images. It’s called PicsArt. You can find it for Windows 8.1 or 10 in the Windows Store. Just open the Windows Store app by clicking the icon that looks like a shopping bag.

Then search for PicsArt.

Click on the result. Then choose Get. The app is free, though it does offer in-app purchases.

It takes a few minutes to install. Once the installation is finished, you can click Launch or close the store and later search for PicArts in your Start Menu.

You can log in with your Microsoft, Facebook, or Google Account or create an account with PicsArt.

When you log in, you’ll be asked about what types of images you like to look at. PicArts has a social element to it. You’ll get a feed of images that others have created.

Select the pink + button to get started on your project.

We’ll start by choosing Edit.

Click the camera to take a picture with your PC’s camera or click the drop-down arrow at the top to select a source.

You can choose from files on your PC, Facebook photos, or images stored in the cloud.
