Clean your Mac

I’ve heard from quite a few of you who have recently switched to Mac computers and are asking about programs that can help free up space and keep your Mac running smoothly.

There are many Mac fans that will tell you that Macs just don’t need that kind of help, but I think there are also quite a few users that will admit that junk can build up on any OS.

One product Mac users seem to like a lot is CleanMyMac 3.

The program Scans your Mac’s system, iTunes, Mail, iPhoto and Photos applications,  and trash bins and removes caches, logs, localizations, and more to trim the excess off your operating system for better performance.

Among the things it cleans out:

  • iPhoto and iTunes junk
  • mail attachments
  • large files

The uninstaller function helps completely remove programs and the maintenance function can repair disk permissions, verify your startup disk, rebuild the Launch Services database, and reindex the Spotlight and Mail databases.

You can also clean up browsing, download, and chat history plus use the shredder function to completely erase files. Plus the program monitors the health of your hardware and lets you know if there’s an issue.

You can click here to download and check out the free trial download.  The trial version only allows you to remove up to 500 MB of junk.

A one computer license normally runs $39.95, but if you click here, you can save 20%.

There also multiple machine licenses available.
