It’s easy to customize the look of your Android phone’s home screen and put the apps where you want them.
Say I don’t want the shortcut for the memo app on my home screen. Press on it with your finger and hold. Notice that the screen shrinks down.
When that happens, you can drag that icon up to the trash can just like this and then release.
To add an app to the home screen, you can either tap a little square of squares to see your app drawer (some versions of Android won’t have this.) On this Galaxy S8, I’ll swipe up from the bottom to see all of my apps.
Then I can press and hold on the app until the screen shrinks a bit.
All I have to do is keep pressing and drag and drop the app where I want it.
You can pretty much set it up any way you want.
