A reader wants to know how to add a mobile phone number to a Facebook account:
“Is there a way to add a mobile account to a Facebook account that doesn’t have one listed?”
We’ve talked before about how important it is to have a mobile number added for security purposes if possible. Fortunately, it’s easy to do.
If you’re using a browser, click the little drop-down arrow at the top-right and choose Settings from the menu.
When the settings page opens, look to the far left and select Mobile.
Then select Add a mobile number.
Add your number. Facebook will confirm it by sending you a text.
