The FBI says that Russian hackers could be accessing information from hundreds of thousands of home and small business routers thanks to a VPN Filter malware.
This malware could disable your router and keep track of all the information that passes through it.
The malware targets brands like Belkin, Linksys, MikroTik, Netgear, TP-Link. and QNAP.
Resetting is a simple as turning your router off for a few minutes and turning it back on. It’s also a good time to change your network password and to make sure you don’t have remote access enabled.
