A reader reminded me of a great quick tip on how to check your version of Windows. This is especially helpful if you aren’t sure if you’ve got the Windows Spring Creators Update yet. The most recent consumer version being Version 1803 OS Build 17133.73 with 17134.48 available for folks participating in beta testing.
Press you Windows key + the R key on the keyboard.
The Run window will open.
Type WINVER into the box and hit OK.
The version and build installed on your PC will display right beneath Microsoft Windows in the box that opens.
