Edge won’t work with RoboForm

A reader’s having an issue getting a favorite program to work with Microsoft Edge.

“I’m using Edge as my browser but if I want to open a web page(yours in this instance, I have to use Internet Explorer as it won’t open in Edge). I use RoboForm for my password manager and it happens when I want to open one of my accounts. I have to use Internet Explorer to open. Why can’t I get Edge to open these sites?”

RoboForm is a program that will automatically fill in frequently-used information for you on websites. According to the folks at RoboForm, your best bet is to make sure you’ve got the very latest version of the program installed. You can click here to download the most recent version.

You’ll also need to make sure that you’re permitting cookies in Edge. (That’s how the browser is able to remember passwords). Open Edge and tap the 3-dot menu button at the top right. Scroll down to SettingsĀ and click or tap.
