Microsoft postpones big Windows update

I told you about Microsoft’s big Windows 10 update. Now the company has put the brakes on the rollout of the October 2018 update due to complaints from users that some of their files have disappeared. The update won’t be automatically pushed to any more devices. If you’ve already made the update to version 1809 and think you have some files missing, Microsoft suggests you minimize the use of the device and contact them immediately at 1-800-MICROSOFT or by going to a different device and contacting them at this link:

If you’ve downloaded the installation media for version 1809 but have not yet installed, don’t do it. They’ll provide a new version of the update once the bug is fixed.
