Diana has a big problem:
“My computer had a virus so I had to reinstall it back, Now it works but I lost Microsoft Word. I need to reinstall it since I need it to write.
It came pre-installed on my computer, so there’s no disc, but I still have my activation key for Word 2013. But now it’s just gone from my PC. The only thing that is left is the Office 365 installer. When I go to the Office 2013 site, all it does is try to get me to upgrade to Office 365. I can use Google Docs for now but is there a way to get Word back without having to subscribe to Office 365?”
If you still have the activation key, all is not lost. That’s why it is incredibly important to save activation keys for all your program somewhere other than your PC just in case something like this happens.
I know that when you go to the official site for Office 2013, it looks like there’s no option to download. Here’s the link in case anyone else is in need of 2013: https://products.office.com/en-us/previous-versions/microsoft-word-2013
As I said, it looks as if there’s no option to download Word 2013.
Well, that’s what they want you to think. Here’s what you need to do. Scroll all the way down to almost the bottom of the page and look on the right side. What do you know! You can still download Word 2013!
And guess what? The same applies for Office 2010. When you go here: https://products.office.com/en-us/office-2010
It appears that your only option is to upgrade to Office 365. But scroll down to almost the bottom and look on the right. Here it is! Your option to download.
Office 2010 will only be supported until 2020, BTW. There is an option for an Office 2007 page, but no program to download since it is no longer supported.
Hope this helps!
