A reader has a question about our recent article on an option in Chrome to clean up your PC.
“My “reset” on Chrome on my Chromebook only have an option to reset to default and remove all the settings, extensions, etc. It doesn’t give the option to “clean up computer”. Hmmm.”
Chrome browser offers a handy option built-in option for cleaning up your computer. (Click here to read all about it.)
But that option only works for PCs. While a Chromebook may look very similar to a PC, it is actually more like an Android tablet in the body of a laptop and doesn’t use the same version of the browser that you’d find on a laptop or desktop PC.
That’s why you can only run programs available in the Google Chrome Store on your device.
