Regional Driving Lingo

Do you know the difference between a feeder road and a jug handle? Ever lose a tire thanks to a chuckhole?

What you call where you drive depends largely on where you live. I’ve been using a lot of regional terms from my Appalachian roots lately thanks to a project I’m working on, so I thought this nifty infographic about regional driving terms was a whole lot of fun.

It looks at some unusual region terms for roads, breaks down who is most likely to use them, and give you a little bit of history about where the term comes from.

As a bonus, you even get some handy tips for giving directions. Forget about North, South, East, and West, there’s a better way.
