The Giving Assistant is basically an online e-commerce/social good platform that gives you the chance to make extra cash by donating to charities and other non-profits that partner with the company. To use the product, you simply have to sign up at https://givingassistant.org/ and create a free account. Giving assistant promises the following:

You can browse the website by product category, trending deals, or non-profits. You can also search for stores.

Since it has 3,000 partner retailers, browsing through the list of participants could be a challenge.  Giving Assistant provides a browser extension that alerts you whether a not a site you’re visiting is a partner merchant. The extension also automatically loads the latest promo codes.
