Autocomplete

A few weeks ago, I told you about the fun online game, Google Feud. (You can click here to learn more about that.)

Now they’ve added another fun game based on the results of Google searches to the mix, called Autocomplete.

Autocomplete is actually simpler than Google Feud. Instead of coming up with answers and typing them in, you just select from the options offered. Let’s look at how to play. Start by following this link: http://www.googlefeud.com/

Then click on Autocomplete.

The game will show you a common Google query like “Does the moon have…”  Your goal is to complete the sentence with the most popular query.  You can pick one of five answers from a drop-down menu.

You have four chances to guess and will be scored by how quickly you get to the right answer.

As you can see, it took me quite a few guesses to find the right answer. You’ll then be able to see where that query ranked among Google searches. Once you get to the right answer, click Next.

I eventually managed to rack up some points. Not only is this game fun and simple to play, it gives you an interesting insight into the sometimes puzzling things that people serarch for.
