A reader had this comment on my recent tip about uninstalling programs in Windows 10 (you can click here to read that tip):
“The tips you gave to uninstall resident Apps don’t work- no uninstall is shown on a right-click. I tried several, all the same.”
Not all built-in apps can be uninstalled. If an app can be uninstalled, you will see that option when you right-click in the app list.
If an app can’t be uninstalled, you won’t see the option.
Which version of Windows are you using? The latest update to Build 1903 allows you to uninstall more built-in apps that previous builds. Keep in mind though, that the majority of built-in apps cannot be removed.
