With all the recalls being issued for cars these days, there has to be a quick place to check to see if your vehicle is affected and the notice didn’t make it to you, right?  Good news, there is and it’s super easy to use.

You can look up recalls by using your VIN (Vehicle Identification Number). Just find the VIN on your vehicle and then type it into the search field on the site. After that you’ll need to fill out the CAPTCHA and click the orange Submit button.

Just below the area where you put in the information into the search field is a text box that details what the search does and does not cover.

On the left side of the page, you’ll find  a handy side menu.  You can check those categories out for yourself, but I wanted to draw your attention to the Recalls FAQ. It’s a downloadable .PDF that goes over what a recall is, where you can find your VIN on your vehicle, and other helpful tips.
