Is Firefox the safest browser choice?  According the the BSI – the government cyber-security agency for Germany – it’s the only choice.

At least the only one of the four browsers they tested that meets all of their minimum security standards.

Firefox went head to head with Chrome, Edge, and Internet Explorer.

What made Firefox come out ahead? It was the only one of the browsers tested that has the ability to add a master password. And the only one that allows you to block all data collection completely. Firefox also got the thumbs-up for its organizational transparency.

Microsoft and Google are only willing to share so much about how their companies work.

Firefox is a free and open-source browser developed by the Mozilla Foundation. The developers say their priority is people, not profit.
