If you use your PC at work or on the go or maybe you live with other people you don’t necessarily want to know too much about your business, you’ll want to check your computer’s lock screen privacy settings.
The lock screen is what comes up when you first log on to your PC or if you leave it inactive for a bit.
But, depending on your settings, other information may display even though your PC is password-protected. For example, notifications of new messages in your email, or notices about Facebook posts, or even PayPal transfers.
Here’s how to make sure your notifications don’t show up in Windows 10. Type Notifications & actions into your search box and click on the results.
Untick the box next to Show notifications on the lock screen.
