The New York Times has selected an amazing collection of photos from 2019.
When you arrive at the site, you’ll see there is a brief year in review statement and then you can scroll down to the images. That’s all you have to do to navigate too – just scroll down. If you fancy looking at them a month at a time, once you’ve scrolled past the statement a menu appears at the left of the page that allows you to select a month.
I will offer a warning some of the images depict graphic violence, so you might not want to look through these if there are children around or you are put off by blood.
With that said, you’ll also find some amazing photographs of nature, everyday life, politics, and art. Among the most striking to me was an image of the intact Rose Window amongst the charred destruction of Notre Dame.
