I recently gave you instructions for updating Google Chrome that said Chrome normally automatically updates but you can also click on the little green arrow at the top right to update.
When I hover over it, I see there’s an update available.
A couple of readers contacted me saying they didn’t have a little green arrow at the top right of their Chrome browser. That’s because Chrome has probably already automatically updated. If there’s no update available, you’ll see the standard three-dot menu icon. To double-check for updates you can click on the three-dot icon and choose Help from the drop-down menu.
Then select About Google Chrome.
Chrome will then check for updates.
And display which version you have installed.
