Mac Finder -Manage your folders 2

We’ve been learning all about how you can use the Finder on your Mac to manage your folders and files. Yesterday, I showed you how to adjust the way they display and how they are sorted. You can click here to read that tip.

Start by opening Finder.

The Finder will open.

Select a file or folder in the navigation pane and then click on the gear icon at the top to see your options. The options will vary depending on what type of file or folder you’ve selected.

Your next option is for sharing an item you’ve selected.

Choose to share via Mail, Messages, or AirDrop.

Or click More for additional options.

Another way to sort files is to click on the Tag icon.

You can then assign a new tag by typing in the field or use one of the existing tags.

You can sort files by tags by clicking on the Item Grouping icon at the top.

Or by using the navigation pane.
