Automatic maintenance is a setting on your PC that you might not know anything about but it can help keep your PC in good running order. Let’s check it out.
Start by typing automatic maintenance in your search box and clicking on the results.
The default setting for Automatic Maintenance is to run a check each day at 2 am. For it to work, you’ll need to put your PC to sleep at night as opposed to turning it completely off.
If the box next to Allow scheduled maintenance to wake up my computer is ticked, your PC will automatically wake up for the scheduled updates, security scan, and system diagnostics and then go back to sleep when it’s finished.
You can also click the drop-down menu to change the time to one that best suits your needs.
