A reader had a question about Zoom’s virtual backgrounds.
“Does the ‘virtual background’ work for an invited participant, or only for the presenter?”
I told a could of weeks ago how you could change up the backgrounds in the Zoom video conferencing app. (You can click here to read that tip).
With many people using the app to work from home, some would like to hide that messy kitchen or playroom in the background.
However, your background won’t show up for other participants involved in the meeting. Each person must choose to enable virtual backgrounds and select the background they prefer.
Also, their particular device needs to have a processor capable of handling that display. If you’d like all participants to share the same background, just make sure to share your preferred image with all the participants. They can set it as a background individually.
