Google is stepping up its security game with new and improved alerts for suspected issues with Google services like Gmail, YouTube, and Google Drive.
These new alerts will automatically pop up within the Google app you’re using. You won’t have to wait for a separate email or phone notification.

Google says the new alerts are resistant to spoofing, so scammers won’t be able to use them to trick you with phishing scams.

The company will start rolling out the alerts slowly in the coming weeks. They say they’ll expand them sometime next year.
