A reader wrote to me to complain that her Favorites bar kept disappearing in Microsoft Edge. The Favorites bar displays shortcuts to your bookmarked sites.
However, if you look at this tab, the Favorites bar is missing. So what’s up? Where did it go?
The issue is the Favorites bar setting. Let’s fix it. Click the three-dot menu icon at the top right and choose Favorites from drop-down menu.
Then choose Show favorites bar.
You have three choices:
- Always
- Never
- Only on new tabs
If the bar keeps disappearing, you’ve probably selected Only on new tabs. Choose Always instead.
