Here’s a quick tip for customizing the options for your Windows 10 Recycle Bin. The Recycle Bin (formerly known as trash) is the stopping off place where files go after you delete them. They aren’t gone from your computer until you choose to empty the Recycle Bin. As we all know, that Recycle Bin can get pretty full sometimes.
Start by right-clicking on Recycle Bin and choosing Properties from the pop-up menu.
The Properties menu will open.
You can control how much space is allotted to store store recycled items by changing the numbers in the box next to Custom size. The space is measured in MBs.
You can also choose to skip the Recycle Bin entirely and remove deleted files immediately.
If you find yourself accidentally deleting items, consider ticking the box next to Display delete confirmation dialog. Tick it, and you’ll be asked to confirm that you really want to get rid of items.
Make sure to click OK to save your changes.
