I told you earlier in the week about the DuckDuckGo search engine. (Click here to read that article.)
You can use it by visiting DuckDuckGo.com or, if you use Google Chrome browser, downloading the extension.
Start by clicking here to find the extension in the Chrome web store.
Then click on Add to Chrome.
Give permission to add the extension.
Click on the Extensions icon at the top-right of Chrome and then click on the pin icon to pin DuckDuckGo to the top of the browser.
Click on the duck icon to use the search engine.
The extension also lets you know if the connection is encrypted and how many trackers it has found on the site.
